Is today the last time Rabs calls a game?
I like Matt Thompson as a caller. Best of the rest besides Vossy but he won't be back at 9 anytime soon.

Drew Hutchison has to be the biggest, slowest halfback going around outside of bush footy. Cannot believe the Dragons think this is the guy to lead them out of the doldrums...

After 20 minutes I can't see how the Bears win this, their forwards are getting absolutely dominated by the Cutters. But it is quite warm there today .....

They have a huge bench, Josh Ailoamai weighs about sixteen thousand kilos and is fast off the mark. If they get a bit of momentum they can rack up points very quickly.

The heat may be counting against them a bit, with such a big pack.

I've seen a bunch of Bears games since we signed the Fog.

They just hit up off the hooker and hail-mary on the 5th. No real structure or game plan.

The Fog has a lot to learn in the off season. The good thing is that he is not a child. Is a good defender and already has a pretty good kicking game.

Sattler reckons the Bears are super fit ... they look like super slugs so far today

I think it's a bit of a fallacy that the QLD Cup is a higher standard than the NSW Cup. The part timers in the QLD Cup might be better (on average) than the part timers in the NSW Cup, but the NSW Cup has far more full time NRL contracted players per team.

Look at these two teams. The Cutters have the following NRL contracted players:
Quinlan
Mann
Milne
Faifai Loa
Hutchison
McCrone
Havili
McCarthy

The Bears have these full time footballers:
Cullen
Peteru
Burr
Lynch
