You won't have to worry against Parra.

And the rest of the league waiting for the NRL to dock those points.

Warren Ryan, who made a swag of Grand Finals in the 80's and won a couple of them, used to say the key to having a good year is to win the close ones. The Sharks must have been listening. They've won 6 games this year by 5 or less, and haven't lost one by that close a margin. Not that they've lost many.

This is easily the most successful team the club has had in its 50 seasons. Is it luck that they win all these close ones? Will their luck run out? Blowed if I know.

I hope they can do it. If they can maintain their form for another three and a bit months they'll deserve it. Meanwhile, I guess they'll beat Parra, who are a pretty decent side, by five or less.

Protocol

Apparently Todd Carney is advising the league on how to not to get caught out on a technicality.

Our '99 side was red hot too, Frog. However they didn't even make the GF, which still haunts me.

This team knows how to win, & they've given themselves every opportunity to at at least get there.

Time will tell if knowing how to win in finals is part of their repertoire.

Yeah that 99 stuffed up big time.

As much as I would love to see the Sharks break their drought a part of me would feel it's a bit of an injustice as I think they've had better teams who didn't win the comp. Thats not a slight on the current team, who are a bloody good team, more saying they've had some great ones in the past that couldn't get the job done.

Obviously their fans won't care and I'll be on their bandwagon come September

Oh well, clears it up for those that don't watch our games. Seeing as they won't be getting us on FTA before the finals.
