Parra are struggling to find a spine that will score any points. That's why Penrith are shorties.

Are the mountain men contenders or pretenders? Last chance Eels look for respite from media barrage.

The local derby of the west is sure to send sparks flying as these two rivals lock horns on Sunday out at Penrith.
Penrith are last start losers after a very discouraging 26-10 defeat at home against the red hot Cronulla Sharks. This young Panthers side on paper looks as one of the most talented in the NRL yet cannot find any consistency this season.

(snip)
I reckon this was written before Norman was stood down. Still, I can understand why someone would be tipping Parra, even with so many important players out. The Panthers have been kinda brittle in defence in recent weeks.

This is Groundhog day for the Panthers, once again. I suppose it is for the Eels too but really their chances of making the finals are already wafer thin and its for the best that they don't.

This could be the week all the shit causes Parra to finally crack.
If Penrith can't win they should start planning their end of year trip.
