I think the problem here is that Townsville matches are always at night due to the climate, no fault of 9. The Cowboys ask for Saturday night so their supporters from hundreds of kms away can get to Townsville for the game.

But if you want a good example of routine smashings, look at the Raiders v Souths in the 90s......put 40+ on you guys on 8 occasions.

Its true that souths had the better of us during that period (4 wins compared to 2) but the average score was 30 v 19 so a two converted try margin. Hardly smashing.

My 7 year old who is a sharks fan gave me shit the whole way from the ground to the car when they beat us.

Ended up telling him he can walk home if he keeps going. It's a long walk from Cronulla to Minto.
