Both teams have small fanbases. Yes, those engaged with NRL will know this will be a good quality game to watch - but when it comes to eyes on sets, Parra v Manly and Dragons v Broncos will deliver a greater return.

I don't agree with it but it's pretty obvious reasoning.

Good chance to see where the Raiders are at. Sharks this week, Storm next week. I haven't really been to impressed with the Sharks lately. Titans really should of beat them on Monday. Sharkies didn't respond very well when the Titans started to get physical with them. Raiders can rough it up with the best of them as they proved against the Dogs, but can also fold away in games too.

Don't feel to bad. Channel 9 don't want 1st vs 2nd. Even tho it may well decide the minor premiership. They went Broncos vs Roosters and Bulldogs vs Rabbitohs over Storm vs Sharks in Rd 26. It's just stupid by channel 9

As I said to Skeepe - there are more eyes on the clubs they've chosen. They're proven good raters and have big fanbases.

Also worth noting both the games they have are likely to decide finals spots (for Brisbane and Canterbury)

I get that across a season fta games can generate extra sponsorship, but for the last 6 rounds is it really gonna make a difference ?

It'd be nice to see the Sharks on fta for once but listening to Rabs and Gould talk about greyhounds and the new season of the block will do your head in... Then again, the dribble Gasnier and Anasta produce is probably worse. Fox used to be good...

Does the club and our sponsors care? Absolutely.
