dont expect the world from hayne in the first match back, give him 2 or 3 to get a groove going. As long as he doesn't put the first bomb down.

The Titans are taking a huge risk playing Hayne in this game, which they've indicated they will do. No doubt a cameo off the bench as he will be neither match fit nor versed in the team's plays. They are looking for an instant reward at the gate while putting their finals chances at serious risk. Hayne on the bench will mean a bench forward short. This match is almost a semi-final and they can ill afford to give the opposition such a leg up.

Hayne might make one of his trademark length of the field runs, beating the entire opposition team, and making a goose of TheFrog and many others. But I consider that unlikely in this game. More likely the Warriors will try to smash him, legally of course.

I'm tipping the Warriors because the Titans are giving them a free kick in order to boost the crowd, ie revenue. I just hope the Titans don't get any free rides from the refs in this game. The implications would be appalling.

Return of the Hayne plane just one storyline in vital Top 8 clash on the coast!

The Gold Coast Titans and New Zealand Warriors clash this Sunday in what is shaping as a vital game in the make up of the top 8. Both sides are jostling for positions in the finals and currently sit 7th (Titans) and 8th (Warriors) on the table. However that isn't the only storyline in this tantalising match up. We have the much publicised return of the "Hayne Plane" and Konrad Hurrell coming against his former club. This match could have some serious fireworks!

Shame Luke is out, I would have given the Warriors a huge chance after seeing how flat the Sharks were last night. Still reckon the warriors are over the odds at $2.75

I don't know if playing Hayne will put the Titans final chances at serious risk, but I think it's a week early (at least) and probably motivated by wanting to capitalise on the buzz around his signing.
