The draw as usual means some teams this year such as cronulla are playing touch footy for half the comp and racking up cricket scores while others play the heavyweights each week and get given a bye in return but thus doesn't help the % for and against. Tigers for example lost by 4 to parra and 1 to raiders will struggle to make the 8 after playing parra penrith Newcastle raiders wsas Cron bye and steelers. Maybe the bye could be given av winning margin or similar.

Not long till finals in both Harold Mats and SGBall Who do we think are the front runners and teams pushing for the title. Any underdogs who are not on the radar but a team that could surprise a few teams through out the finals.? Any thoughts.?

Would ot not be better to divide the comp into a couple of grades each year, at least it would be competitive between the lesser sides in a lower grade. Could then incorporate the bush divisions into at their appropriate grading, instead of seperate pathways

Mal meninga and cyrill connell comps in qld put the 16 teams into pools for a home away series then the top teams from the pools go into a finalsl play off series. Its geography based up in qld for obvious reasons but maybe nsw could seed teams based on where they finish the season before. I know it's a different bunch of boys playing but there doesn't seem to be too much change in team strengths from year to year.

Illawarra Sg Ball side is a very talented team, they've beaten Penrith both times they've played be very surprised if they don't get up again

Interesting to know also TristanSailor (Wendells son) is playing
And so is Dylan Morris ( Josh & Brett Morris' brother) for Illawarra

Panthers lost only one match in comp games. And yes, that was against the Steelers in the final round when the Panthers had already wrapped up the minor premiership.

Will be the best match in all grades from the entire weekend.
