how frustrating is it watching gordon slot goals from everywhere for the sharks while kelly misses sitters for the eels
i dont know what our missed goal percentage is for this season but it must be way up on previous years 2016 can't come soon enough

Reece must be injured or have the yips. Norman used to kick in lower grades as well, but looked injured last night.

Kelly must be out 5th/6th choice club kicker.

 Still can't answer that question???? How about comparing their efforts at fulback for the Eels this season???

Because looking at their whole careers is a bigger sample.

The answer to your question is obvious - Hopoate was the best choice at fullback until round seven. Then Robinson, Sandow and Norman were variously the best choices. Do you watch the games or do you need me to recap them for you?

Whom do you think is the best choice at fullback? Do you disagree with the coaching staff?

More waffle, can't answer the question so just spews more bullshit. Your trolling since your return has reached epic levels.

Robbo has easily shown he is the best option at the club this season, not hard to answer the question but keep hiding behind your stats whinger.

Yeah I'm a troll because I don't clap at cheer at everything the club does
That's right I'm not a true fan, so when you were critical of the previous board were you trolling????

Pre season it was a no, but after a month of Hoppa plodding around it was obvious we needed to change the backline somehow. Shows how poor our backline depth is when a 5 club journeyman is easily our best option. Gordon again will be a step up but it's hardly anything to be excited about. Hopefully the wraps on French are correct and he can fill a massive void soon as possible.

i have no problems with what BA has tried to do with the fullback position this year .... I think its considerably more difficult to manage than any of us nuffies know

He has recently but obviously didn't in the pre-season or he would have been picked there.

I think he's saying that the coaching staff made a mistake (which, strangely, happens from time to time). In this case he's right - they did make a mistake. But only in hindsight. I was one who disagreed with playing Hoppa at fullback - mostly on the grounds that he was too slow. As it turns out, I was right. But that doesn't mean I'm an astute judge of things; it's just how it turned out. I was prepared to give the coaching staff the benefit of the doubt, since they'd been involved with Hoppa training in the fullback role, while I obviously hadn't. But the only real criticism I can level at Brad Arthur in this situation is that he stuck with Hopoate way too long. I think Hoppa's play at fullback was atrocious. I don't think he should ever be considered in that position again. As much as Robinson is no champion fullback, he's streets ahead of Hopoate. Robbo's length of the field try last night - Hoppa couldn't score a try like that in his dreams!

Well said. Gordon even if he turns back the clock and has a golden year is still just a short term solution. As far as 2016 goes he will be ok.Not in the top 10 fullbacks in the game. But Reece is prob not in the top 25 that could play there

Gee our medical staff will rubbing their hands with glee at the overtime they will be doing with Scott adding to Watmough in the old mans ward.

He broke a bone because someone stomped him. What's his age got to do with the injury ?

Or are the facts in inconvenience to your agenda ?
