Yeah hell of a week 1. Brisbane and Roosters sell out Suncorp, Storm and Manly sell out AAMI Park, Sharks and Cows sell out at Shark Park, Eels and Panthers with maybe 60,000 at ANZ

Eels V Panthers 60K at ANZ ?? lol
it would be lucky to get 30K
Sydneysiders just aren't supporting the game at the gate these days

& they'll be no finals played at Shark Park ..... none !!

Ladder predictor NRL.com

Cowgirls have;

Roosters (A) - Loss
Storm (H) - Loss
Panthers (A) - Loss
Sharks (H) - Loss
Tigers (A) - Win
Broncos (H) - Loss

30 points

I'm 3/3 so far regarding the Cowgirls, need Dragons to win tonight.

Manly

Manly have lost back to back Tigers and Dogs. You really have question whether they deserve to be playing finals footy if they can't put these teams away. I acknowledge though Tigers having improved lately but the point still stands.

Cowboys

Cowboys on the other hand have a injury run that is worst I can ever remember. They did so well without Matt Scott and Jonathan Thurston, and even with all the injuries they have had they are still digging deep. It amazing there still playing teams as close as they are and it's real tragedy the great work might not be rewarded at the end of the season through a series of bad luck.

Dragons

Dragons- were better against the Broncos. The effort is there, but the hustle can't make up for a lack of a halfback that they so desperately need.

Raiders

Its over for them this year. I think they have been playing well of late, but the hole they dug for themselves was too big for them to get out. The five or six games they lost by narrow margins really harmed their chances this year.

Panthers

They have had best comeback to a season since the Broncos in 2006. Anthony Griffin has sorted the combinations out and they are firing. Some of the wins have been ugly, but that's expected when you have won 10 out of 12. I still think they will probably fall short of a top four spot, but I haven't looked into all the scenarios.

Eagles will be lucky to get the points against the warriors, no chance in hell we beat the panthers in the final round..

Potentially missing the eight... with mad Monday celebrating Barrett's sacking

The Broncos won the comp from 3rd after losing 5 straight following Origin, sure enough, but they were never out of the top 8 after round 4, and the only time they had lost more games than they had won was Round 1. The Panthers have come back from 15th position, 2 wins and 7 losses after 9 rounds to now have a chance of entering the top 4 next weekend. I think this is a much greater comeback to make the finals, if we manage not to choke now. The nearest thing comparable is what the Swans have done this year in AFL.

Yep got the teams wrong, but the year right. It was Parramatta.

"Since the introduction of the mandatory grand final in 1954, only three teams have fought back from a 2-7 start to even make the playoffs.

Two of those - Canberra in 2002 and Parramatta in 2006 - were also beneficiaries of rival teams being docked points for salary cap breaches to finish eighth."

I find it very amusing that if the Panthers beat the Dragons next week & #Tommy Smith & #Blaza88 have there teams both win we will be in the top 4. I'm picturing them both in the feotal position torn about death riding their own teams.

Unless we can finish 3rd I would rather finish outside the top 4.

4th place is a certain loss no matter who finishes there. Sure they get a second chance. But I would rather play week 2 of finals coming off a win then a crushing defeat.

I agree Dragons should win, so Manly is in a must win vs Penrith, if Manly do manage to win and so do Dragons Penrith are still safe unless Cowboys also snag a win.

My Tips are;

Dragons beat Dogs
Penrith beat Manly
Broncos beat Cowboys
Sharks beat Knights
Eels beat Rabbits
Storm beat Raiders
Roosters beat Titans

Resulting Ladder

Melbourne - 44
Roosters - 38
Broncos - 36
Parramatta - 36
Sharks - 34
Penrith - 32
Dragons - 30
Cowboys - 30

Manly - 30

Manly and Cowboys +/- is only 10 points difference so if Cowboys get a touch up Manly could make it even after losing.
