If the Gold Coast dont go back to their 07 jumper, these colours would be a good move...

The Metalic Gold would be a big improvement and the Ink Blue would go well alongside the Turquoise

NSW jersey has to be the worst jersey in Rugby League atm (well, apart from that Captains pos they announced)
Why don't they just reverse the blues on the jersey above, remove the gold (or just smear excrement on instead as a nod to their playing style for the past decade) and just use that

It'll still be an ugly f**king piece of shit with the worst sponsor in the history of sports advertising on the front, but it will be a thousand times better than the crap they tried to sell last year, failed to sell and are now desperately trying to offload again.

Well their colours are black and white, so adding red or gold doesn't make sense.

Personally I love it. A lot of jerseys, particularly in Europe, are an absolute dogs breakfast. Being so simple in a world of messy jerseys makes a bold statement.

I like it a lot too

Personally. I am sick of the chevron - I'd like to see them do a butchers stripe in white round the chest. Bit like a classic Hull KR design, but with Hull FC colours

For the away, simply reverse it. White with black stripe. Simple, classy, but easily identifiable

Still, the plain black, whilst boring looks cool

Wash your mouth out, rovers shirt with a black band, blasphemy!

Love the chevron, nothing says rugby league quite like it.

I like it too - but every man and his dog has one and there Butchers stripe is way under rated

I'd like to see the Roosters do a Blue Jersey with red and blue stripes round and then do a white version for the away, just once in my life.

Or could we just re do this one again (my favourite ever)

All the recent Roosters hooped jerseys have been like the original traditional ones with 7 or 8 hoop bands.
The less is more approach used in the late 90's / early 2000's was the best they ever did.

SYDNEY Roosters really are Sydney’s glamour club with their jersey and shorts now worth a club record $2.2 million in sponsorship.

The Bondi boys welcomed Magic Glass coming on board as a chest and front-of-shorts sponsor this week, joining long-running partners Steggles, QBE and World First.

Should they find one more sponsor for the back of their shorts, the playing kit will surge past $2.5 million annually, or about the price of a one-bedroom unit in the east.

While it is still a far cry from the $4 million-plus their Moore Park neighbours the Sydney Swans rake in annually with QBE, Citibank and VW, it’s not bad for a mob who finished 15th on the NRL ladder last year.

Mitchell Pierce, Boyd Cordner and Jake Friend with the sponsor-heavy jersey.
Roosters boss John Lee would not put an actual figure on the overall sponsorship, but said the addition of Magic Glass had made it a record.

“The pioneer of sponsorship, Nick Politis, started this in 1976 and paid $50,000 a year for three years. Who would have thought the value of this jersey would now be worth more than 40 times what was paid in the first year,’’ Lee said.

Big things are expected at the Chookies this season, especially with a mostly trouble-free off-season, and the wonderful bond already struck up between new halves Mitchell Pearce and Luke Keary.

With the announcement today that "Lottoland" will be the back jersey sponsor of Manly, (as well as the new name of Brookie for the next 3 years), I thought I would do my predictions of how it may look. Such a shame that one of the better jerseys in the NRL will be ruined by yet another colourful sponsor.

Who cares? They pay the cash they get the spot.

While sponsor integration is great I'm more pleased that businesses are willing to spend money on sponsorship with clubs.

Either bottom one would be great but going on history it will be top left but larger and in place of the number.

From what I understand companies want maximum visibility of their brand on TV when sponsoring clubs and with that I'd imagine that they'd go with the plain white "Lottoland" as it stands out the most against the maroon jersey. But that's applying logic to the NRL and ISC and the club and the sponsor, so Manly will end up with some clusterf*ck like the first option.....

Lottoland is a great name for Brookie. Describes the playing surface perfectly
And you can almost predict the headlines when manly have an indifferent home record
"Lottoland lives up to its name as Manly fail to put back to back wins at home" or
"No longer a fortress but a lottery for visiting teams"
