NSW lost the second game because following a 3-all penalty count in the first game, they appeared to think the refs would keep the whistles in their pockets again, whereas what really happened is they did that only when NSW had the ball. So the likes of Graham, Maloney and Fifita (see the pattern here?) need to show some discipline. NSW have the better forward pack, in this game they have to show it. It will help immensely if Pearce doesn't receive the ball, not even once, and by extension if he cannot kick it. He's a good tackler, have him just doing that.

If you mean a drawn series, then it was 2002 with the previous occasion being 1999. Thing is you can no longer have drawn games in Origin. They go to golden point if scores are tied at the end of regulation time. Difference is if at the end of the 10 minutes the score is still dead locked (like in Finals games), the clock keeps going until a team scores.

Origin these days is as fixed as the wrestling. That Qld have only managed to sweep one series in the last 12 years (then only just) and Cam Smith only got penalised for doing the same stuff Cam Smith does in every other game when the NRL did everything to help the Blues avoid another whitewash is Game 3 last year? It's as legitimate as a $22 note. In this case, the NRL has got the $$$Decider$$$ it always wanted...

But if you're a NSW fan, tonight is going to be a positive one, regardless-

Either we win the shield back for the next 12 months at least...

Or we almost certainly lose Daley and (quite likely) Pearce from NSW for good.
