Yep.. The 9s jersey was great, as was last years Darwin jersey. Even if we used one of those as our away strip and stuck to a traditional/retro style for home

Any chance of someone like adidas doing it? Do Puma do League jerseys?
Adidas not interested in doing NRL jerseys, Nike aren't doing them anymore after this year too. Puma don't do any at present.
Really only makers now are ISC, blades, CCC and BLK.
I can't see any major foreign owned brand getting back in to it anytime soon. Sales are too slow due to prices being too high due to NRL licensing fees.

I think the only alternative in 1986 was having either Hardiplank or Hardiflex across your back, depending on whether you wore and odd number or even numbered jersey?

I remember players having either hardiplank or hardiflex on their back never realised it depended on odd or even though

Does anyone actually use paint for anything other than dicking around with images?

If I didn't have a need to dick around with images, I wouldn't use it.
