Although the Broncos went out with barely a whimper they still had a very good season. It's a shame for their supporters and news ltd that it was a poor last game.

Broncos supporters can eat a dick for all I care. Apart from a few, the rest are wankers with an unearned superiority complex. I love seeing the game prosper in Melbourne. That said I hope they lose next week.

The Storm played like they were tanking for next week and will be much better for the run. It's a shame they made it though because the plastic club with their manufactured fans don't really appreciate hows special grand final week is. They have never known how it feels to struggle and probably never will thanks to their "owners".

Owners? News limited was long ago. Stick to complaining about wrestle or grapple or chicken wings

Was hoping for a tighter scoreline, but the result is obviously of no surprise.

Our overall game has been disjointed, rudderless and seemingly made up on the fly since McCullough's injury and tonight was a perfect example of that. They worked hard on Melbourne in the first half and that kept them in the game, but as soon as the lead got out to 8 it was back to business as usual and worse. Disappointed with the way they let the game fall away like that and of course a side like Melbourne were going to make the most of it.

Glad to see the back of Blair and to a certain extent Moga. On the flip side, sad to see the young forwards leaving, they'll do well at their new clubs.

Quietly confident we'll manage to be thereabouts next year, but worried about the Milford/Niko combo being able to work well for an entire season. Combined they have a weak kicking game and Niko, like Hunt earlier on, will take a while to get his defence right. We are in great need a solid, organising half to build a game around.

Congrats Melbourne, too good and too used to winning (especially against us).

Funniest part of the evening was Storm Boy, or whatever his name is, greeting Storm players with their kids post match with a stuffed donkey over his shoulder. LOL.

Gambled on flights and GF tickets 3 months ago, paid off tonight! I’ll be cheering on NQ tomorrow but Storm will crush their fairytale next week.

The Broncos weren't convincing all year, in a stronger year they are a bottom of the 8 side.

That run of wins was against a heap of teams out of form, 2017 really is a soft year with only the Storm being head and shoulders above the rest during the regular season and the Cowboys showing the most guts in the finals.
