The foward pass crack down this weekend is great....where has it been for the first third of the season ?

And why oh why do we do these things mid season ?

Except, as usual, the NRL gets it ass backwards.

They "crackdown" due to a "controversial" pass that the media were blowing up about, but actually wasn't forward.

Then they rule up passes from running halves on to flying backs, hardly any of which are forward, they just "look" forward to the idiotic touchies who are judging the path of the ball rather than the direction thrown, and they continue to ignore the mountain of dummy half forward passes.

On the game...

Roosters got a few calls and bounces their way in the last 10 minutes, but overall they made a lot more line breaks and fewer missed tackles, so probably deserved the win.

And thereby the top 5 continues to break away from everyone else.

What a f**king miracle that the Dogs only gave away 3 penalties today instead of the aforementioned 5, 6, 8 and 10 in the last month despite the multitude of glaringly obvious ruck infringements that were blatantly ignored. Must just be a coincidence hey dickhead?

Yeah I agree. If they awarded the penalty for Tupou being escorted off the ball the Dogs don't even get down that end of the field. Terrible refs.
