I don't think anyone will face a side as soft as Penrith was last week for the rest of the season, Newcastle included. As complete as en effort souths put in I wouldn't use to much of it to predict this one.

If Crichton doesn't play Roosters should win!!!!!!

I think it's all precautionary though and he will play......

I'm just glad we're not trotting out a 3/4 line of Moceidreke, Talakai, Jennings and Goodwin like last time we played the Roosters. That alone should make the game more competitive than last time.

I can see Sam Burgess spending a bit of time running at Mitchell.

If we can play like we did Sunday it'll be a close one, but we've rarely put together consecutive good performances this year.
It's not players running at Mitchell that worries me, more players running around him and through the holes he creates lol

I predict that Angus Crichton will score at least one try.

Souths by 20 if I'm being honest.

I thought this would be a difficult game long before we got pumped last week and Souths got their big win.

Without our origin players I feel our forward pack will get taken to school by Burgess on Friday. Yes Souths could potentially target our centres but IMO it will be our forwards around the middle that they get their advantage with.

Our hope lays with Watson and Keary each having a big reason to step up - keary to get it over his old club, and Watson playing for a 1st grade spot

Shit - sorry Souths - I brought Crichton into my fantasy team this week
That's guaranteed to cause him an injury

4. Mitchell Aubusson 5. Joseph Manu 6. Connor Watson 10. Zane Tetevano 11. Ryan Matterson 12. Aidan Guerra
Interchange: 16. Lindsay Collins 17. Mitchell Cornish 18. Nat Butcher 19. Victor Radley 20. Chris Smith 21. Eloni Vunakece

When you play a back rower in the centres, a centre on the wing, bench fill ins at five eighth and prop, a reserve five eighth in the second row and Aiden Guerra at 12 you're in trouble

When your bench includes Mitchell Cornish and a guy call Vic has a chance of getting a run - you're f**ked

The only way Easts will win is if we swap shirts before the game

Now no SST either it appears.

I'm not even sure I want to watch the game.

This is as certain a loss as I can recall.

Souths by as many as they want.

f**k Origin.

Don't forget that Robbie Farah hasn't beaten the roosters since 2011 regardless of how poor the chooks have been at times... hold on to that.

This reminds me of the 2013 Minor Premiership game.

We had 4-5 players out that match and were considered no chance but got there in the end.

Now our team this year isn't as good as that one but neither is Souffs'

Watching the game on fox, how the hell does Hodges get a gig ?

The career long grub is borderline illiterate, between the two syllable words he grunts and finishes with a 1/2 giggle. He make s zero sense and just repeats what Bedsy or Gaz said two seconds before, but none of the grammatical structure of an inbred gympie hobo.

His IQ has to be from the Mesozoic era, nothing short of astounding.
