Well, by modern standards, it is flip a coin whether that is a send off or not.

I have no problem with send offs for direct hits to the head, but plenty of times that happens and isn't a send off, especially with the attacker slipping.

BUT the system is ridiculous, and has been for years, that the punishment (and he will get a suspension) actually hurts the Storm, as the Raiders will be weakened against other teams, which not only doesn't help the Storm, but since it helps teams that aren't the Storm, it could be argued it hurts the Storm.

Why on earth we haven't got a sin bin yet for foul play is beyond me, and make a 5 minute option, and referees may actually use it.

But fmd. What does a bloke have to do to get sent off? Late, high, stiff arm. Should be an auto send off.

Pretty much. Players could use elbows or feet in that situation though and still be sweet (may be fined though...).
