not much in the hodgson hit to be honest. i can see why the ref missed it.

it was a penalty only
but nevertheless , reynolds lost the ball because of the contact , raiders get it & go on the attack instead of souths getting the ball back with field position & a chance to put further pressure on the raiders through a deserved penalty
not getting penalties when you should can be game changers
it was a huge miss& indicative of the appalling standard of refereeing in the nrl
