He seems to have cut the shit out of his game for starters, sure he's in a better team but letting him go to keep useless plodders like Rankin.

You obviously didn't see him play when Smith, Cronk and the others were out for Origin. Woeful

I don't see anyone beating the Storm for the trophy this year. Just too good.

Yeah they're way above the rest of the comp. 2017 Melbourne Premiers pencil it in. The only question is which team wants the honour of losing to them in the 2017 Grand Final?

Nah some DT journalist tweeted last week that he seriously believes Penrith is the only team that could challenge them. Even as a diehard fan, I lol'ed. A lot. And then wondered if I can have some of whatever he was on when he sent the tweet.
Kent or Whiskey nose?

Don't really see much value in making the 8. Didn't get to watch last weeks blood bath, but this was pretty soft. Defense is the killer. There are big gaps on both edges and Sydney heads around the play the ball in the middle. Defending kicks has been an issue since 2012.

I'm still not sold on Barrett. Everybody is raving about him, but most of these issues have been there the entire two seasons he has been coach. And even with different players.

I still think they have over-achieved most of the season. But it has fallen away badly in the last 4-5 games. We should have lost to Newie at home even.

Doubt it. From a very good family who have kept him grounded. Bellamy told him if he did the post try celebrations he was doing at the Tigers he wouldn't be in the team. He's a committed kid.

Yeah was more about having a pop at the other protected goose. I like the Fox.

You'll have time on your side, and the games you have left, only Easts and the Panthers (last game) are genuine threats.

But like this weekend has proven, any side can beat another.

So you saying it was ok for corruptamatta to cheat so they could "dig their way out of the basement" Methinks money not used wisely... now you have a good coach who knows the value of hard work can instil that into your players can only help your team get better. Good luck
We are coming 6th you dopey cretin, from where we have been i'd say it is money thats been used wisely.

Shows how big a joke the NRL has become when you have to cheat just be competitive.

best money you spent was getting BA for your coach. I know you are coming 6th and it is because of the work ethic your coach is instilling in the team.

That really isn't my point. Playing finals for 1 weeks is pretty worthless experience. You need to be top 6 minimum to have any hope. Top 4 to have any real chance. Top 2 if you actually want to be confident.

If we had a 20 team comp, 8 teams in the final might work. But with 16, you have the top end of middle range playing finals. It is a bit over the top.
