That half pretty much sums up the Warriors pretty nicely.

Better team for most of the half, Souths were lethargic, but the simplest defensive lapses that would make NYC players giggle in disbelief means they never take advantage.

Yep, comps best completion rate %, low errors, even low missed tackle count all means squat when you always give away soft tries through terrible defensive reads and effort. Lol even the fact our forward pack regularly gets steamrolled pales in comparison to our ongoing year by year useless frigging defense.

Yeah but with a bit of steel we could have easily shut out those tries.
A few penalties swung our way too but we didn't take advantage, no excuses really.

It's weird sensing another loss despite being 12-12.

Pretty much. When the opposition score 50% of the time they get a set of six in your 20 it really doesn't matter too much what you do in the other parts of the field. If you're giving up 20+ points a game you're not winning many.
