So he had to regrip a ball without ever having a grip on it in the first place?

Seems like a bit of a poor use of the English language to me
if you touch a ball and can't maintain possession before it hits the ground its a knock on isn't it?

Yeah you don't need a grip to score as such but you do to prevent a knock on.

You guys play Cowboys or Manly right.

Will beat the Cowboys in Sydney. Manly are a danger and can trouble the Sharks if they play like this.

I'm glad we won't play Manly or Dragons in the first round. Both teams lift against us.

Cowboys were good in the 2nd half against us a few weeks ago, but probably will struggle in Sydney with such a depleted roster. Wouldn't count them out though.

Knights were again quite good, but not quite good enough.

In a year where the top 8 have been mostly mediocre, the Knights as the wooden spooners have not been that far off the pace. Certainly a fair improvement on the field, even if not on the ladder, from last year, and seem unlikely to win the spoon next year if they continue their upward momentum (and other teams continue to slide).

I guess no fan ever wants a wooden spoon, but given their previous season and the roster they have, I think they have done well and I hope their fans see a better future than they did this time last year.

Sharks did what we've done all year, which was just enough. Gallen was immense, not many others lifted with him. Happy for Ramien on debut and getting a nice try.

I know it's strange to congratulate a team that has just sewn up the spoon, but the knights deserve credit for a gutsy year. Outclassed talent wise in most positions week-to-week but hung in there and showed resilience and spirit. Pushed some top teams without getting the results.

The home crowds were amazing considering they've won a handful of games in a few years. Not many teams would get those crowds in those circumstances. Hope they have a better year next year. They truly deserve it.

Knights have a lot of upside to them. A few defensive and concentration lapses chave been costly.
The additions over the off season should see them improve again next year.

Nathan brown has done a good job
