Well deserved loss. We kept trying to throw this game away all 2nd half while Manly kept playing positive footy. Our forwards were especially terrible in this last 10-15 mins.

Fargo and Mitchell's laziness also shone through with both more than happy to just bludge out on the sidelines and not look for any work compared to the likes of Walker who never stopped moving all game

Yep. you still have a fantastic side, and they still would have beaten many teams tonight, but they played like they were believing the hype, and they were too complacent.

This was probably a "good" loss in that it didn't show up any glaring weaknesses, but hopefully for your team will remind the players to keep their energy all game, and not take it easy.

It's a long season, and every team will lose energy during periods of the game, but it is a reminder that a loss is only a flat quarter away.

On the other hand, Manly were great, and have well and truly recovered from their "flat quarter" vs the Rabbitohs.

Great game.

Chooks are a good team and will go deep into the finals.

Really stoked at the turnaround in the team. A long way to go, but a few weeks ago I thought things were pretty grim.

Green is no world beater, but gee he serves his purpose for us.

Btw Congrats Manly.

Outstanding win and a remarkable turnaround.

Very happy for Trent Barrett.

This team plays very hard and looks like a serious finals contender.

I hate it when posts are littered with Team X played well, but Player Y was doing this all game.... You either mean they played well, or you mean they cheated to victory. Don't shade your responses with BS.

The Roosters played well tonight... Probably a couple of metres from sealing it with a FG. There was some serious speed out there tonight.

Roosters wingers dropped a lot of ball and centres were poor defensively.

Pity Pearce missed the field goal. Played well before then.
