There has to be some onus on the ball carrier. Sure Hodgson made contact with the ball but it was the lightest of light touches, clearly a loose carry.
We need just one ref if they're not going to listen. What's the point? Work experience?
You talking about the high tackle on Boyd? I agree.Such a bad call... if you are going to override the pocket ref, make sure you're 100%
Yeah, I know what youre saying. Just annoying when it happens to your team. Not blaming the Raiders at all, never have, theyre playing great. The reffs though...Yeah,cos refs always favour the visitors.
Funny how you didn't complain about the pocket ref's call of a high tackle against the Warriors being ignored. That example was the perfect example of how the two ref system should work. One controls the ruck the other the 10z
On this occasion the pocket ref was right there, in the ruck and saw what what happened yet a bloke 10 metres says that it didn't happen, nothing to see here.

I wonder why that is...
That tackle around the chest by Mannering wasnt a head high. Boyds tackle was head high. Warriors didnt knock it on and neither did the Raiders but they called a Warriors knock on. Have to be blind from jerking too much to miss the 2 on 1 strip. Just statin the facts. Not blamin the Raiders, no need to jump to conclusions. You talking about the high tackle on Boyd? I agree.
Not necessarily. It's okay for two refs to see things differently. If the primary ref saw it clearly, I have no problem with him overruling the other bloke. That example was the perfect example of how the two ref system should work. One controls the ruck the other the 10z
