You've actually got a pretty ordinary defensive side. Plenty of attack but too many weaknesses in the defensive line.
The tries at the start of each half should have been stopped, apart from that it was an arm wrestle which was just what we needed, albeit one with an awful lot of mistakes. Things will click, but its a case of when.

Yeah, absolutely stoked a 750K front rower made 30 tackles.

FFS.
Yeah he's probably on too much, but he can also provide some go forward and ball playing. It's just that the team had no ball for his first stint and during his second they were just throwing it to the edges.

And it's not just the 30 tackles, it's the zero missed that is important. Penrith's other middle forwards missed about a dozen between them.

Yeah, Latu for one is an overrated boofhead.

The answer Ed, is an easy one. as it can be found in the publication 'Iron Man:Corey Parker:The Autobiography'. Mr Parker, a QLD origin and Australian mainstay for a number of seasons and the Broncos best player, tells us he finished his career on a salary of 250K a year.

At the time of Parker's retirement, Wayne Bennett following that player payment formula, could not give Wallace more than 100K a season so let him go to the Gold Coast.

The Broncos then found a prop willing to adhere to the 'Parker' player payment formula at Newcastle of all places. This player was willing to forgo 315K a year and sign at Brisbane for 85K. Enter K. SIms to replace J Wallace. Korbin will now top out his earnings at around the 100K mark over the time he plays at Brisbane, due to the imminent increase in the salary cap.

Mr Parker's book was last seen in the 'fiction' section of QLD bookstores if you ever wanted a read.
