Really good game I thought. Just one criticism would be the ref letting a player run in twice from a distance away, other than that enjoyed the game.

A lot the NRL could take from that game if they wished to.

It was fast, flowing, and brutal. Didn't get bogged down in video decisions, the ruck favoured the attacking team, they allowed a bit of passion to overflow and the ref got things back on track pretty quickly without needing to bin anyone (though a good case could have been made for Roberts' third man in effort).

NRL, wake up.
1 ref, less bunker.
Swing the ruck advantage back to attacking teams.
Go easier on fighting and bring back the shoulder charge.

I really hope the NRL and Clubs improve their attitude towards these international club fixtures, and as has been said a million times before I'd love it to be played post-season, rotating between countries. Rather than pre-seasonalways in England. The game can gain a lot by investing in and promoting internationals and club internationals.

Aussies and Broncos fans will typically bring out tired old "weren't really trying", "glorified trial match" lame excuses but the Broncos put out a quality lineup and their frustrations certainly made it look like they were trying, just not very successfully.

So what do they take out of it? It IS a pre-season game, there's a lot of footy to play yet, but Bennett will certainly have a few worries after that limp display. Forward pack a definite step down on previous seasons, Parker gone and Thaiday a year older. Hunt playing Dragons footy a year early, diabolical stuff. Defence in the backline easily exploited by supposedly inferior English players.
Broncos took half an hour to settle into the quicker play the ball style of game, and didn't seem to know what to do against a team that wasn't afraid to attack fast and early rather than with a typical NRL 'win the grind first' attitude. To top it off, even though Warrington did play adventurous attack, they didn't drop a ball til well into the 2nd half and Kevin Brown executed a perfect kicking game.

Very entertaining stuff, not just because the Broncos got rolled but because Warrington put on an excellent display of Rugby League.

After the series has been talked down so much recently that was an awesome game to watch. As has been said the NRL need to wake up and realise they have gone down the wrong path with regards to match officials.

The NRL needs to just give the UK TV rights to anyone who can get the NRL in the spot light over there. Do it for free for a few seasons if need be. The potential money that could be made in shirt sales and giving sponsors a much wider audience would add more value than whatever premier sports are paying now. These games could then be treated as a money grab by the NRL sides just like when EPL sides come to oz.

You should know that nobody in the UK gives a f**k about Aussie sports, especially when it's an inferior product from an entertainment POV.

Nobody gives a f**k about the NRL because its on an obscure TV channel that nobody pays for because having sky sports is like a second mortgage in itself. Put it on BT sport and people would watch it, the A league is on BT sport and people watch it FFS lol.

BT don't seem to care about RL or even know it exists. If they did I would be happy for them to take SL away from Sky who treat the sport like shit.

Which is why the NRL should give them the rights for free for a few years. Im sure it would be a success.

Most existing English RL fans don't care about watching the NRL. Most English people don't care about watching English RL. Not sure why you think they would be interested in watching Australian RL but whatever. I would like to see it on a bigger channel but the current Premier Sports deal is pretty good for the NRL, they provide blanket coverage for the very small niche audience that is likely to be interested.
