Schedule the season 6 weeks ahead to ensure you get the better games on FTA, merkins whinge because they can’t sort their life out in that short period of time.

Schedule the season fully in advance to get overall clarity when your team is playing and merkins still whinge because teams don’t play as expected and are complete rubbish and you get shit match ups on FTA tv.

Agree, 8 rounds in advance is heaps.

It’ll only get worse in the weeks ahead when those same teams still feature on free to air, during the run in to the finals.

Yes and no.

For most of the season at least 6 or more rounds in advance were known, but towards the end of the Origin series, the updates became few and far between to the point only 3-4 weeks ahead was known. That's not enough for lots of people who might want to travel to apply for and successfully get annual leave.
