Anyone know what the text on the jersey is? I'm assuming soldiers names of some sort.

And people wonder why potential and current fans get confused! The chopping and changing of playing strips is not a good look for the code and clubs being familiar in the market place.

Are rugby league fans mentally deficient or something?
Most EPL clubs have three shirts a year and two of them have no relevance to the clubs traditional colours. Yet they are among the most globally recognised sports brands in the world.

The Souths ANZAC shirt is really nice, will be my first new shirts since mid 2016.

What a pointless, irrelevant and useless jersey/round. We now have women:

- match officials
- tv hosts
- administrators
- competition.

Women in League round could easily be replaced with a "charity round" where each club raises awareness for a chosen cause (or better still, the NRL can nominate a different cause each year)... similar to beanie for brain cancer last year.

Also, "Men of League" is not the same as "Men IN League". No Women of League Foundation. Men of League doesn't get a jersey, either, just socks. Men of League is to support struggling RL people whereas WiL just celebrates Tanya wo-manning the tuck shop for 35yrs (nothing wrong with that, by the way, well done Tanya). Men in League round would celebrate Garry whose been cooking the snags beside Tanya for just as long.

Under normal circumstances I agree..but seeing as they stuffed their vee jersey so much this year then they should just be without a vee jersey for one year and fix it up for 2019 season.

You completely glossed over his point about how the NRL should be recognising the efforts of the community in RL, regardless of what's between their legs. I assume @AJB1102 was really getting at how a WiL round will probably become unnecessary with how sport is now opening further up for women, and that a round acknowledging the whole RL community would be more appropriate.

In the coming years I'd probably agree - but I believe we're still a ways off from that.
