Yes, indigenous round is next weekend as I understand - Round 10. It's been roughly this time of year for a little while now, presumably so it falls close to the 67 referendum anniversary.

I'd prefer it was actually directly in line with it, or in NAIDOC week (early July) but it is what it is. Looks like it's the only round where all clubs will have to have the theme jersey again.

It was around Reconciliation Week at some stage, which is 27 May - 3 June this year. The NRL seem to have missed the correct timing for Indigenous Round?

Yeah I'm fairly sure Reconciliation Week is timed to fall on the Referendum anniversary - but the NRL have definitely missed the boat here. If anything the round seems to fall closer to the date parliament first sat in 1901 lol

Wow, that so bad it made me laugh out loud. The white stripes going around the collar makes it look like he's wearing one of those novelty BBQ aprons. Can somebody with skills photoshop an apron with the fake boobs on that photo - would be an improvement me thinks.

Why cant all clubs incorporate a aboriginal art arm band or on the collor... or something into the season jersey... next is women's round and dont forget retro round when some clubs wore jerseys that weren't even retro.

Women in League Round isn't until R22, and they don't have "retro round" anymore, haven't for years. Clubs generally wear heritage/throwback designs relative to their own anniversaries etc.

Just because we're seeing a bunch of Indigenous jerseys now it doesn't mean there's a mish-mash ahead - all clubs will wear them in Round 10.
