Qft.

It's absolutely hysterical.

The bloke runs hard all night and hits harder in D. He also bleeds Blue and leads by an example.

And yet half his own fans lay into him. How sad!

Congrats on the MotM Godner. What a Blues legend.
Cordner has shown the class, talent and mental toughness of Adam Lyth in the 2015 Ashes series in the first two games.

Ha
Walters couldn’t see how Cordner was awarded a penalty try.

FMD the most straight forward one you can see.

The ball bounced perfectly twice.

I really wish they would explain why they think it wasn't. Fatty even quoted the rule before blabbing on about not understanding how the ref could be of the opinion he would score. It's a shame Gallen started talking over the top of him so he couldn't show himself to be an even bigger fool.

They've really only got 2 options. Either they think Chambers would have beaten Cordner to the ball despite giving him a 5m headstart with 10m to run, or there is a chance he would have dropped it in which case you can't ever award a penalty try.

Gotta get the ball down before the leg touches the sideline.

You’re welcome.
Split frames show the ball not down and the legs in the air. The next frame shows the ball in China and the leg probably touching the ground. The bunker should have stuck with the refs call of try. Didn’t really matter though as Qld scored a few minutes later.

Correct. Sterlo had to point that out to Wally.

Thurston also said in the after game ramble that he thought it was a penalty try. Not sure how many QLD supporters have pointed that fact out in this thread yet.

The penalty try ruling was correct. The fact that Hunt was involved was just the icing on his game...

Yep really Chambers was a fool running to get it because the fact he got it confirmed the penalty try. If the ball goes dead or Gagai picks the ball up it would have been a different story.
