They've made the shoulder charge rule greyer than Gandalf. After the Jack Wighton fiasco in 2016 I think anyone can escape that charge.

I’d argue if the goal is to reduce whiplash and potential concussions then a side on shoulder charge from the blind side is way more dangerous than a front on one

I hate the Storm as much as anyone, but tonight the Sharks have completely shat the bed and have no one to blame but themselves. The marker defence there was a disgrace. In the background Fifita was involved but so were 3, yes 3 Storm players. They had to defend 9 players and they couldn’t even do that.

Most of us I think had it in the back of our minds that losing Graham is one thing,but losing Gallen for this game practically buried any chance.

The only inspiration I could give the Sharks fans is if they simply treat this half of football like a different game,and really plough into the Storm,and grub it up.

Slater WILL NOT PLAY NEXT WEEK (assuming Storm are there). It wasn't a case of connecting with the shoulder first and wrapping the arm around afterwards. He did not use his shoulder at. That's 200 points / gone.
