Interesting to see who runs the team come Thursday.
For this match, with a limited preparation, you'd have to think the bloke who is match fit will wear the pants. The longer term challenge for Hook, Brandy and perhaps Freddy will be devising strategies so that they both run the side, whether it be Penrith or NSW. You wouldn't say either Cronk or Thurston ran Qld at their best.

Tyrone May had a good match on Sunday. With Cleary starting, May should be on the bench to get more miles on board. Big question is which Tigers team is going to turn up. This will be a much sterner test for them as of late, but not without any possibility of an upset.

But going on the fact that it's at Penrith Park,I can't see us losing unless we really drop our bundle.

Panthers by 16.

its been the exact same team for 10 weeks in a row. tough, gritty, play through the middle third and try to win through our defence.

I was referring to the attitude, not the listed side. They've had dome great wins, but in the past few weeks, although the Cows win was no mean feat, the game V the Warriors was a dissapointment....same V the Eels.

The Panthers are $1.60 to $2.35 faves in this. Can't ignore that weight of money against the Tiges. If it was $2.00 to $1.80,I'd be concerned. With the Panthers at home,Cleary and May coming back,Panthers team on a big confident roll,it's going to be a big ask for your team.

We should be 8-2, should have buried the games against Knights and Eels without too much fuss and I have no doubt if the packman plays we win those games. Brisbane game we were fcked by the refs, probably draw a right result

Only game I can accept we were completely outplayed was the warriors, but we were missing 5 regular 1st graders and they had full strength.

Benji has been pretty handy this year for the most part.

Our 17 is pretty easy to pick, call out the names of those not on crutches that havent had their heads caved in or been disemboweled. lol

Haha only kidding, but benji had a shocker in that game from what I recall

6 if you include the Benji Marshall handicap
Seems to me this bloke is the bellwether of the Tigers. If he plays well, the team plays well.

I'm not sure I'll get to watch this game live, which will be horrible given my addiction to this sport and the Penrith Panthers. Going on a four day cruise tomorrow and will be anchored at Moreton Island, off Redcliffe on Thursday evening (within the Brisbane transmission area I'm sure), but not sure if they will show the game on the ship. Might have to shell out for wifi if they don't.

They have a bit more than just Benji in the arsenal. But when he is on, he is still formidable. I'm hoping JFH introduces himself early and often. If we win this, it will be won in the middle and game management by the halves.
