That Watmough contract is the worst in recent memory.

It'd be like if someone now offered Sam Thaiday 500k per year for 3 years.

Actually at least Sam doesn't have chronic injuries to deal with (unless you count obesity).

Jack Bird says “hold my beer”

Dead set hopeless buy from us...yeah let’s pay thousands for a guy to play 5/8 when he’s hopeless in that position lol

Oh but these clubs have big fan bases and will attract more viewers because nrl is a business and is in the interest of high ratings and not high quality football. In other words you sheep will watch what we tell you to watch.

Only die hard football fans will be watching tonight.

Don't be stupid.

He is The Dalai Arthur, not Brad.

My favourite Dalai moment was when he thought Choc Watmough could be his Ben Kennedy.
Mine is when he thought Moses is anything other that a shit merkin

Sam has a BMI of 34 I'm told, but you don't measure athletes on BMI. His body fat percentage would have to be under 15% you'd think, probably well under, in order to be an NRL player in 2018, so obese he aint. He needs to be careful in retirement, though. Old front rowers do tend to turn to fat. If I were him I'd continue with the bodybuilding he no doubt does tons of now.

Schwartzenegger at his most muscular had a BMI of 31, and not a gram of fat on him.

Eels lose this and they get the spoon. I've tipped them to win as they have been very unlucky of late and I have a feeling that they will jag a few wins at the back end of the season. But anything can happen.

C'mon! Get this thing going.

I'm sick of watching the Melbourne news and hearing that some AFL player is out for 6 to 8 weeks with chipped nail polish.

At least the thunderstorms are providing some excitement.

Anyway, I'm hoping for (and expecting) an entertaining game.

My prediction;
This game will be a total opposite of the matches put on by these two teams in the 80’s.

Hayne v Holland...

Expect records to be broken. Linebreaks and tackle busts, probably 7 tries and a dozen try assists to the Hayneplanetrain.
