Did you watch the presser? Flanno said they failed to execute. The 2 biggest factors in the game were chads failure to execute and the refs. Flanno mentioned them both.

Right, of course

We didn't defend well or anything and besides, you guys were losing at half therefore you had no right to win that game

Seems like Flanno did acknowledge the calls we got last week...

“Clearly I think any fair judge would find it hard to find sufficient evidence to overrule the on-field decision,” Flanagan said.

We were on the positive end last week, we are on the negative end this week.

“There was just too many of them (tough calls). It’s a concern for the game. That refereeing standard wasn’t up to scratch.”

Personally, I was ok with the No Try call, but I don't understand why it needs 25 looks to determine.

What I wasn't a fan of was for the Sharks to be penalised for an obstruction early in the game despite Townsend surrendering, meanwhile the Broncos were allows to get away with the same thing later in the game. The 'strip' call on Matt Prior was awful. The Isaako collision penalised was just absurd given Moylan only ever had his eyes on the ball, and the majority of contact was actually by Roberts trying to run a block. Lewis being denied the opportunity to chase a grubber because Milford ran infield to impede him.

Despite all of these (and there are more) - Sharks lost that game because of inept halfback, and a severe lack of creativity in their attack. It is no surprise the two tries were both class caused by reactions to broken play. Sharks had plenty of opportunities and did not take advantage.

The game is o

Flanagan is on the pisstake, he was carrying on like his team was blatantly robbed without having any opportunity to win that game which is a load of shit, Cronulla had many opportunities to win that game but when it came down to it they couldn't execute

In the presser when asked why his team lost or whatever it was, he instantly eluded to decisions not going his way, really Shane? So after being the recipient of easily the worst decision of the year last week.. and a few other 50/50's too, you want to come out and say you lost because decisions didn't go your way? Like I said, Cronulla had multiple opportunities to win that game but came up with nothing, the referees didn't stop them from scoring

Ha
What crap
He mentioned a couple of tough calls.
Which they were.
Moylan penalised for trying to catch a footy is against the rules when you play the Broncos .
He also said even if we got those calls it still doesn’t mean we would have won.

Btw
Broncos were not penalised once in the second half.
They couldn’t score.

He also said the broncos defended well. Are you hard of hearing or dense?

Might help if the stats were a bit more up to date. That article only covers the first 8 rounds of this year.

I remember there being a more in depth article in the couriermail, I can't find it though, it was far from as #penaltybroncos as you'd think, you'd be surprised

Was the kick to Corey Oates the worst kick we've seen all year? It barely went as high as the crossbar on the goal posts and landed halfway back in goal

You're kicking game has to be historically bad to make Milford and Kodi's look as good as it did in comparison.

I don't know what I preferred with Chad's performance - his kicking game or his tendency to throw a dummy and try to run himself despite having no agility or speed.

Despite a fair bit of derp and inconsistent reffing, it was an entertaining game.
Brisbane got the rub of the green, but regardless they deserved to win. Sharks were hopeless in the attacking zone.

Disagree with the Broncos 'deserving' to win. But the Sharks had plenty of opportunities to take advantage of their possession but didn't.
