A statement you hear at least once a month. Sometimes 2 or 3 times. That was insipid by Johnson and the warriors.

That ridiculous penalty in the first half was costly as well as the forward pass try
We have no right to blame the refs, with a bit of heart we'd have won.
Throw in the mix next Sunday, the Dogs V Dragons. Dogs will love nothing more than to upset the Dragon's push for a top 4 spot. That loss makes it very tough for the Warriors to make top 4. It is very typical of the Warrior's season though.
Now a home elimination final really rests on next week's result.
It is hard to see Roosters, Souths and Melbourne missing top 3 now, and Dragons and Sharks (and Panthers if they can win without Maloney) fighting for 4th and 5th, with Panthers, Warriors and Broncos scrapping for 6th over 7th or 8th.
Tigers still a tiny chance of 8th (about 3% you'd reckon).
20 odd tackles or so in the front line, a try assist, good kicks, a great try saving tackle and the winning field goal.
What a 22nd birthday for Lachlan Lewis

It is interesting that Dogs and Knights play Dragons and Sharks. Both want to spoil the same teams.
Dogs and Knights can take some confidence from this week and Dragons and Sharks have imploded previously this season, so anything can happen. But you'd expect the top teams to have too much to play for.
Panthers/Warriors should be a great test of both teams desire after a bit of adversity this week.
Can't believe the Warriors lost tbh. It's not like the Dogs didn't give them heaps of opportunities in the 2nd half.
Typical NZ though. All the talent, lacking the smarts.
