We gave Griffin time. He made the finals three years in a row after years of mediocrity.

Ciraldo won’t get the chance unless Gus doesn’t actually line up a coach. If he’s our coach next year, we’re done before it starts.

Unlikely, given there are only 16 jobs available and you've got premiership winners twiddling their thumbs as it is. SL clubs, on the other hand, would be very interested in someone with a 58% NRL win record coaching an unfashionable and inexperienced team.

How many have a 60%+ winning record? If that meant so much he'd walk into another job. Manly could use him more than anyone.

Ciraldo will get the rest of the season. He's been dumped into an almost impossible position and it might do him no good whatsoever, career-wise. That wasn't considered. Still, the side might turn around, impossible as it may seem. He does need to be having words with people, the forwards especially, and RCG most especially.
