Souffs will most likely have to travel to Melbourne if they lose here. They haven't been all that impressive, and the Tiges are not easybeats.

If the Tigers win this they'll be the first side to miss the finals with 13 wins from 24 in the 16 team/top 8 era (ie since Titans came into the NRL).

There you go, I thought the sharks were still a win behind them. Unlikely they slip out of the top 4 though so they’ll still get the second chance.

We’ve had the wood over souths recently winning 5 of the last 6 with the one loss being when Moses threw the big tantrum and refused to tackle or run the ball.

Still think Souths do this and sadly even if we win it won’t mean anything anyway.

Yep saw that stat re 13 wins, some years teams have made it with 10 wins. It’s pretty much the most Wests Tigers thing ever.

It's a shame every Souths match day thread on here gets derailed, I enjoy reading genuine opinions from supporters of other teams without the vitriol. Alas, this is the internet circa 2018.

There's something to be said for a bit of banter between opposition fans before a game as well tbh. Trick is, if you dish out a serve or two then you have to be prepared to show up and cop plenty if your team loses. Not disappear into thin air...

Can I just say that in no way does Rabbits20 represent or speak for the rest of us Rabbits fans.
It’s all part of the rivalry. I know lots of Tigers fans that strongly dislike Souths but we have some who don’t like them back as well!

Coight gives it on here so he can take it back too.

I can't believe Tigers signed Benji and Robbie for another season. The pattern with Souths v Tigers is generally a win for each side per season so I think Souths will get the win off the back of Robbie fluffing up the hero plays and Benji is due for a shocker.

Robbie makes sense benji doesnt really. Benji has been struggling hard the backend of this season and I doubt his body can handle more than 10 games next season (if Reynolds stays injury free next year benji will spend most time in ISP I hope)

Robbie will be fine I think if he just sticks to servicing the ball to Reynolds/Brooks and tackles his guts out.

Tigers love a feel good story though. Even if it doesnt benefit the club

Robbie is definitely a better defender than Liddle who is better with the ball in hand. If Robbie and Liddle are going to be in the same side I hope Robbie plays more like a Dean Young type role with maybe 20 minutes at hooker then moves to lock and helps mentor Liddle at Hooker. I can see the value in that for both players and for the club moving forward. Liddle is too good a prospect to not spend time and money on and it would be sad to see him moved on.

I see what you mean with Benji, he is purely a depth player who has utility value. I just hope by him being there he isn't holding anyone back.

Liddle had huge wraps on him all through the juniors. He was always a step ahead of everyone at that level. NSW cup too.

Hes been plagued by injuries ever since coming into grade though, already had 2 shoulder recos and has never completed a full pre season. I'd prefer to judge him after hes been uninterrupted not in his current situation, as I see a lot of tigers fans saying liddle isn't the answer

Theres a reason why Bellamy even wanted to poach him a couple years back to groom him as their no 9 after Smith retires

Benji is due for a shocker? I thought that's all he's had the last dozen or so games. God help us if it can get any worse.
