This might sound harsh but I think Tom Turbo is overhyped at present.

An excellent player, and I'd pick him at centre for the Blues, but... the way the commentators carry on you'd think he was the lovechild of Billy Slater and Darren Lockyer.

For a bloke his size and speed I actually find his running game to be underwhelming. He should be more damaging.

Again, excellent player with huge potential but he's nowhere near the end product they make him out to be. And rightfully so, he's still young.[/Q

The kids got raw potential no doubt, under a decent coach

No doubt he has potential under a decent coach...

Manly slipping on the banana skin big time here. Super flat after last week against a Souths side who have obviously been chafing all week.

His brother is a f**king beast.

For a middle forward his age he's almost got it all. An axe in D, a huge engine, strong carries and brilliant 2nd phase & ball playing ability.

I absolutely agree that he's the best of the two and he'll play 30+ Tests and Origins. But being the forward he's just the less fashionable of the two it seems.

There was this genius on the Broncos forum who said that he is so average. What a moronic comment. Jake T can do it all as a forward. This guy also said that Cordner was hopeless and that Tedesco just turns up against crap teams.

People said the same thing about Slater, he was quite error prone early on but then again he has a good coach.

Good to see Damien Cook having a big game. I rated him and didn’t believe he was getting the chances he deserved. Good to see him taking his opportunity today.

Makes all the difference, seriously though what coach lets his players sprout shyte
like were gonna win the comp...
Funnily enough people said the same thing about Cam Smith as they do about Jake. The footy brain of a 30 year old veteran in a young players body and hardly the most athletic looking but dynamic. Future blues captain and I think he could be the best player in the competition one day let alone lock. Although Taumalolo is great too.
