Never change Panthers fans... the only bunch that give me essays when I have the audacity to tip against you :D

Though we do have a wonderful history together even since the infamous "easy draw" thread xx
It was karma that our first tough win was over Roosters in the finals.

Although that result ruined the finals series by putting Roosters on the same side as Rabbits and giving Bulldogs an easy run against injury depleted sides to the grand final.

Yeah that win put an end to what would have likely been an epic Roosters-Rabbits GF.

Although the Cowboys might have done to the Rabbits what the Sea Eagles did a year before.

Are you going to be pleased if this means your team gets penalised out of a finals game?
The changes are going to take longer than a season to iron out and we are going to see an interesting finals series.

Yes. If they are too f**king dumb to adjust to staying on side within a few weeks then they deserve what they will get. If it takes a full season then I hope the main offenders get put into reggies or get the sack. The rules a very clear and easy to follow - even for a league player. No excuses.

At least we wait for you to be proven wrong. It was tempting to bite earlier, but I didn't think we'd win up there either.

Such a wide margin for four trys to three
Four tries to three REALLY flatters the losers. The Panthers gave up plum field position to take the 2 four times, and they should have scored right on halftime when not one but two Panthers were held back without the ball. The scoreline is quite appropriate for the way the game played out.

I actually think the scoreline flattered NQ as well. They played like utter shit and in reality were 24-30 worse.

merkins need to pull their head out of their asses and out of the newspapers because to me it looks like they think they can just turn up half assed and win.

Agreed mate .
There's about 30 pts difference between our current rabble & our finals campaign team from last year .
Plus the self belief, commitment, effort & never say die attitude has vanished .

Even at their best last year, it was most often not until the final quarter of the game the forward roll really came into its own. They got on that roll again in this game but had surrendered a big lead and the opposition weren't lying down for them.

With the pack this side has, I'd be surprised if they don't finish in a similar position to last year after the preliminary rounds, either just in or just out of the 8. The run to the grand final seems to have got most thinking they are world beaters, whereas they made the eight only on the back of a major upset by another team last year. Certainly, just like the Panthers last year, it defies logic that they started as premiership favourites or second favourites.

I think they'll come into their own when there's some freeflowing rugby league being played, this stop/start stuff really nullifies their pack as they could steam roll a few sides if they were allowed to play with momentum

Currently, there's no momentum for any team in most of the games due to how many penalties are being blown

Our pack managed it against the cows.
