how on Earth Canterbury managed to beat Penrith is beyond me.

Three things happened-
1. The Dogs were gifted a good start with a try that should have been disallowed and lots of leg-ups.
2. The Panthers were poor in the first half and not that much better in the second.
3. The Dogs badly wanted the win and lifted, as they do occasionally, holding us to a single try in the second half. They'll probably do it again next week or the week after, so beware tipping against them.
