We've almost won as many games this season as we did all of last season. This is as good as its been in 5 years.

I’m happy we won, I don’t take any joy in beating the Tigers but the better team defiently won. Scored 2 more tries but just couldn’t convert any. It would have been too demoralising for the Knights to lose like that.

Better team won. Newcastles play the balls were twice as quick as the tigers and they played off the back of that. Like Manly last week the Tigers bid not have a lot of ball in the first 20 minutes and most games go with possession. Tigers of past would have lost by 30, so even though they were off there game they still had a dig, but Newie would have been stiff to get beaten even if they did not score the last try
