Jackson Hastings to have a blinder against his old club, as Barrett wipes the egg off his face.

So much media attention to a fringe first grader with a famous surname...
A couple of weeks ago the coach said he would not be selected in first grade again. Over the weekend, amid an injury crisis, the CEO said the complete opposite. Seems newsworthy to me.

Well news worthy or not, even with Hastings in the team... Eagles still lose by 30+

The Roosters having bought the cream of the crop have managed two tries in the last 2 games, one of them against the team running 14th. Manly might play them into form though, as they seem to have done for Parra.

Any rational assessment of this game would suggest a comfortable chooks win. But as a chooks fan I have been disappointed far too many times in recent seasons when playing under strength or under the pump teams to consider this in a rational way. Losing to Cronulla in recent seasons when they were missing 6 or so of their regulars comes to mind. We will either win big or lose by 2 in a frustrating affair.
Easts by 20 (with zero confidence)

Roosters have beat up a couple of teams who were down this year. Think this will be another of them. Easts by 22
