The try in the 1980 GF was a ripper. Remember he won the RX7 for the pass the ball comp? He used to drive that to school. For a 10/11 year old that was might impressive!

What's the alternative with these speedsters OT? I have an alternative idea, which is to teach them to get over their fear and get their bodies in shape without looking like muscles on bone. Prime examples would be Slater and Widdop.

All this bulking up talk is madness in my book.
Lots of smallish players bodies develop over time and they learn to adapt naturally Slater a perfect example as was Barba.
Making them put on bulk must ultimately affect their natural athleticism of which Dugan is a perfect example.
Once upon a time the small players had minders looking after them especially in the defence side of things although with FB that is more difficult.
Anyway we will find out soon enough but I live in fear that these young speedsters might get overworked in the gym and their natural ability which is what got them to this point could be forsaken.

Matt Bowen was a giant wasn't he must be at least 80 kgs you can't beat speed speed speed I agree old timer plus if their fast enough the Giants can't catch them.

On a side note DUFTY looks like he's bulked up in the off season so my mates tell me.anybody care to confirm that .......

He has put on 7kg wich will end up being 5 kg of muscle.
So hopefully that will help him.
But he needs to be able to back up week after week.
I think he will make it.

I would say 83 kg will be his weight.
Sometime people think that players have bulked up when all they have done it added muscle.
