Yeah i thought siezer could be a chance but i reckon freddy would give pearce another shot over him .... maybe pearce with freddy n joey in his ear could turn it around
Didn't Bird play in the halves on the weekend. I would be inclined to give him a run as a big body at 5/8 and let Maloney run the whole shebang like he is currently doing at the Riff.

Got to be one of the worst backline I have ever seen..

Teddy had been playing crap for over a year now Hayne on the wing for NSW?
Bird?
Scott?
Klemmer & Woods I hope we have better players to choose from.. tbh

Na it will go ok!!

Teddy has always performed for NSW.

Not many wing options available (ferguson after last year doesn't deserve selection like Dugan and mansour is injured) and Hayne will show some form over the next few weeks. Tom / Hayne will makr plenty of metres and add some class on the wing.

Curtis Scott goes ok and Bird has gone good when selected for NSW.

Klemmer / Woods were our starting props in the winning World Cup side, they go ok!!

Is that Nathan brown? The bench is very light, with no real props!! Hope Vaughan and RCG can play 60 mins each.

Was just in the car and Matty Johns & MG are saying that Gutho is Freddy’s 14. Not sure is that is inside knowledge or just their 2 cents.

Actually thought Gutho wasn't that great yesterday. Was safe and did ok but didn't seem as busy and kick returns not as good as usual.

Why the f**k would you pick Gunco on the bench? In what scenarios would you sub him on?

They like having a utility on the bench, he covers the backs plus could play in the middle to add some attack. A bit like what QLD did with Morgan.

I wouldn't pick him yet but - think there are better options.

I reckon Freddy goes for

9. McInnes
14. Cook

Cook will cause them grief no end. Ask Kevie who does he want to see there another lumberjack forward or Cook. He won’t want Cook any day of the week.

If Gutho can kill it over the next few weeks and Tedesco just plays average then Gutho should be there.

Ferguson will be the first winger picked, in sublime form.

Halves partner for Maloney a bit of a worry. Hope Cleary has 2-3 games before origin and is ready to go

Yeah but Gunco isn't Morgan. Morgan has more of that organisational playmaking skill, Gutho is a high energy, super fit opportunist. He'd essentially be there as injury cover or Hodges debut type brain fade by one of the other backs cover.
He either starts or you pick someone else. Especially if it means we lose him for a week for him to do an Aaron Raper

Could Moses come into contention if he continues his recent form? Whilst below his best at the start of the season, it definitely wasn’t through a lack of trying and we had no ball.
