18k would be a more realistic goal. 20k average would be insane good.

Yes, 18k would be insane good actually. 20k would be off the charts.
Hopefully the Knights have a good season and average north of 20k.
Parra should average north of 20k with up to 3 or 4 sell outs of Bank West.

I have worked out Parra will average 21,500.
The NRL have scheduled smartly with giving Parra the Roosters and Cronulla as their early season games at ANZ. The Sharks and Roosters fans together with the Sea Eagles being the least likely to travel anywhere within Sydney.
Each of those will be 15k.
The first 3 home games should be sold out.
Then Parra has the Rabbits which could get 20k.
Broncos will likely be 18k.
Raiders no away fans 18k.
Warriors no away fans 18k.
Knights fans will travel that could get 20k.
Dogs fans will want to have a look so 25k.
Sea Eagles, no away fans so 18k.

In the unlikely event Parra are good this season it could be higher than that.

After a stressful half hour, I was able to get my tickets for game 1 at BankWest. 63 days to go...

I must admit I can only speak from experiences in Brisbane and Melbourne but the Warriors (ex pat Kiwis) drag a huge amount of ''away'' support into Suncorp and AAMI, does this not happen in Sydney?

Warriors are usually mid to high level support at Roosters games. They get some good turnouts, a lot better than Aus interstate teams and better than a few Sydney clubs.

Good point - when I have a chance Ill go check the Parra crowd attendances over the years to see if the Warriors bring more.

17k at Brookvale tonight for the rah rah, Manly take note...
I was watching the game and thought there is no way it could be 17k as there were plenty of gaps.
There are some Manly games with more people and it gets reported around 13k. I was thinking the Waratahs exaggerated numbers or Manly report lower numbers for some reason

Yeah you're right, the Northern Beaches hates rugby union.
Having spent over 30 years on the northern beaches, I know about half a dozen rugby fans.

But I'm sure you're far more knowledgeable as someone that thinks driving to the beaches to watch his team is too hard. You must know plenty of locals.
