Given the expected sellout today of approximately 30,000, that will bring the weekend total to around 141,000. Making it the lowest Easter weekend total since 2009, when 126,618 fans attended games.

disappointing

the lack of souths fans at the game on friday was disgusting. scum

Given the form of both teams, the weather and it's a Monday afternoon, i'll predict 14,000. Let's hope for alot of walk ups. This game should of been promoted heavily in the weeks leading up!

Are you trolling or just unaware of the new stadium situation?

I’m thinking the new stadium will be operating at a lower capacity today. GA areas will tell the story. Looking at the location tag on Instagram it looks to be filling up early, everyone probably a bit excited.

Still large gaps at the back behind the posts. Feel sorry for the fans on the sideline looking into the sun.

This weekend all games have been on what I call a weekend time slot due to the extra long weekend with ThNF being like a FNF game during Easter

And no Fri 6pm style game

Be interesting to compare its aggregate v Round 5

It's noticeable the empty seats. I suggest it will not be exactly 30000. A tad lower which is baffling? Still looks great but not absolute capacity.

If they can’t get a capacity crowd today they never will.

Nothing to worry about. To ease opening pressure on staff they will hve held back tickets for sale. They did it at Suncorp and Optus too.

Every ticket placed on sale was sold.

Yeah makes sense. Would want to limit any possible issues during it's opening event and see what needs to be improved.

This stadium is a game changer for the nrl, it’s reasonable to expect an average of 20k+ for most games, excluding Thursday nights, which would see the games avg attendance break probably 17.5k.
