Poor discipline from NZ. They have this game in control, Lions trying to disrupt things just to change it up, NZ need to ignore it and keep doing what they've been doing.

I'm surprised at how poor Widdop is. He has offered very little.

Lomax and Hastings aren't finding ways to get involved either.

Maybe Lomax should go to 5/8 for a while and Hardaker to full back. They need to try something, they are not threatening at all at the moment.
Think Widdop has been shit for ages ... he probably shouldn’t be playing as he looks scared

Terrible referee work all game. Allowing both sides to lay all over the play the ball has triggered this.

It's not a good sign when Perenara is mentoring you.

I don't know man.

Great mentor if you want to style your hair to look like that of a complete wanker.

George Williams is far better that these two turnips in the halves

Old Wayne thinkin' with his little head again

To be fair, Hastings has had a great season.

Williams was good too though, and Widdop obviously missed most the year, so maybe was selected just on reputation. He has struggled these last two games.

Bit of luck in that, but also one of those rookie plays I'd like to see Nikora fix. Absolutely no need to strip the ball there (obviously it was tough as he had to put his hand on it to stop a potential try), and it created the broken play GB haven't been able to conjure on their own all game.

It's not even the best stadium in Auckland. North Harbour stadium is easier to travel to, park at and get in and out (just unfinished with bugger all seating). Eden Park is a disgrace. Hard to access, sh**ty facilities and expensive food and drinks. But we can't build another one cos then the bleeding hearts whinge the money is better spent on dole bludgers and other wankery

lol it had nothing to do with “dole bludgers” and everything to do with the ridiculous council setup in Auckland prior to the 2011 World Cup when stadium upgrades were on the table. Because Auckland was split into 4 city councils plus the regional council none of the wanted to green light anything that wasn’t in their area, and the ARC wouldn’t green light anything on their land because they only really dealt with ports and roads. The Labour government actually wanted to tip in half the funding but the f**king dorklanders STILL couldn’t agree on a plan despite the waterfront stadium proposal looking awesome. And in the meantime Wellington and Dunedin both managed to build good new stadiums and Christchurch managed to knock up a pretty decent temporary one after theirs got wrecked by the earthquake.
If it happened now under the super city arrangement Auckland might actually get its shit together.
