I think Raiders fans are all bought up. It's just the Roosters fans waiting until the NRL give the rest away.
The unwashed green scrubs jumped the gun to buy tickets at full price, FOMO and all that. The sophisticated and finals-experienced Kangaroosters know where the smart money is.

We accidentally stumbled upon it. You guys, Melbourne, Dogs, Brisbane and Parra perfected it.

It's like comparing a Stradivarius to a rubber band stretched over an empty tissue box. We're so out of our depth that we've moved on to tricking poms and copying the Scandinavians.

Most of whom were signed before the existance of a salary cap. Like I said, we stumbled into an idea and you guys ran with it.

Your club is truly a giant standing on the shoulders of midgets. I doff my ineptly (but legally) managed salary cap to you.

To be fair it was a breakout year for guys like Mullins, Nagas, Wiki, Furner and Croker who wouldn't have been on much and pretty sure Osborne and Hetherington were getting paid in mars bars.

It's not like getting to the off season and deciding to buy the best fullback and halfback in the comp for a mill each. Our big signing for 2018 was Charlie Gubb.

Uncle Nick's got so many 3rd party sponsors lined up, that he's giving them to prospective players at other clubs. That's like 6D cap management right there.

To be fair though we just lost Sonny Bill and Brad Fittler so had a lot of cap space

Politis giving out cars filled with brown paper bags to opposition players is a twist I did not see coming.
Really changes the whole narrative.
The NRL needs to put out a graph clarifying just what proportion of the total TPAs across the competition are just Nick's car dealerships.

I think you'll find most clubs TPA bar graphs will reduce to zero. Nick Politis puts the N in NRL and without him, we'd all be watching Roller Derby.

Nice try at a slight tweak of history. Teddy signed well before the offseason. No mention of the players moved on to accomodate. Guerra, skd, Watson, nikorima, Evans etc. Cronk was a tricky one but Pearce moving on meant others didn’t need to go. What an upgrade that has turned out to be. An anchor of Anasta proportions.

Looks like you and your alts got together to rig a poll. Canberra are so much of an underdog, I keep forgetting they're actually playing on Sunday.

There's no way we can overcome you poaching Soliola, Leilua, Oldfield and Sticky. Give Raiders the trophy now.

That argument never makes sense. So you move 5 players on to sign 1? Did you only have a squad of 25 that year?

Sticky is a Big Game coach.
Trent Robinson will not have the game plans to match him on the day
Stick's so rusty on big games of late that we considered nicknaming him "Rusty". But there's already a decor-throwing Rusty in the NRL, so we're going with "Richard" instead. I hope the mighty Canberra Richards can overcome adversity to only trail the Sydney Sponsors by double digits on Sunday.
