2019 Jerseys/Logos/Sponsorships

Sponsor exits country before the team has even been able to produce jerseys for sale... must be some kind of record.

Supposedly they'll be in stock sometime this month. Now I don't even know if I'll get one.

I had a feeling Purple Bricks would probably fold but I would never have picked them folding two months after signing on.

I probably would have tried a Shark energy drink out of curiosity if I could have found it somewhere. I’m guessing it probably tasted like a cheap, generic energy drink.

Two months is bad but I’m afraid the Brisbane Lions have got us beat. Signed some tech startup as major sponsor during the off-season and the deal collapsed before they even played the first round.

Hopefully Purple Bricks is paid up because they already supposedly got a deal well under market value.

Nobody will ever top the Raiders McFadden's kit homes sponsorship.

Signed on as our sponsor at the end of 89. Jerseys were not ready for the World Club Challenge, so we took old jerseys to England and had a local manufacturer make us iron-on patches to put over the top of the Woodgers sponsorships. Went bust before the 1990 season started.

Wore them for one game, in England and it wasn't even the official jersey.

It doesn’t top McFadden and the Raiders but in 2001 the Bulldogs had ADCO decide to downgrade their sponsorship from major to sleeve after the jerseys had gone into manufacturing.

Supposedly Purple Bricks are going to honour the remainder of their one-year deal while they wind up operations over the next few months. I wouldn't be surprised if the club pushes whoever they might be negotiating with for 2020 to bring things forward and start this season. Seems a bit silly to play the rest of the season promoting a company that will soon no longer exist.

comparing it to the jersey worn in the charity shield theres avery interesting change

No gold rabbit, wonder if the NRL knocked that back, possibly protecting the use of gold for premiers badges?

also looks like theres no ISC logos on the shoulders of the new version

I think the ISC logos are there in gold on the shoulders. It’s hard to see so I’m not 100% sure.

I really hope they give the premiers something gold for the next season, but idk what would look the best. Surely teams (besides Rabbitohs) wouldn’t want their logo to be fully gold. And I’m all for a gold NRL logo for the winners, but given the examples of the normal NRL logo we’ve had this year, idk if it would be worth the potienal mess.

odd choice to keep the gold shoulder logo and not go white to make it stand out a bit more

I remember years ago at footy training, one of the lower grade coaches had this jersey on one night and I was racking my brain trying to recall when the Raiders had McFadden as a sponsor?
