Was chatting to a contact at ISC and he said that Souths are still waiting on major sponsors - which means that they (ISC) haven’t been able to produce jerseys or much off-field gear for sale over the Xmas period.
Oh right, thanks for the info man, that clears it up.

So I assume the retail versions of the playing strips will have the sponsors on? They are just being produced a bit later right? I hope so!

While it was unlikely for Storm's jersey to change this year, it wouldn't have been the first time a team has changed a jersey after only one year. The jersey on this sticker sheet isn't official ISC artwork but it might suggest a shallower, uninterrupted V for 2019. Although, the Best and Less version of Storm's jersey in 2018 and those footy suits for toddlers all have an uninterrupted V - so who knows?

Also, Musashi has been promoted to the main sponsor section on the Storm website. For Storm it’s usually only uniform sponsors shown there.

My guess is the bottom of the chevrons was probably chopped off by the Crown logo - if they had say, TigerAir on the front of the jersey it would fit comfortably under the chevrons. I guess we will have to wait and see!

Yeah, that would be my guess. From what I have heard ISC are pretty ticked off with the delay because Souths are one of their biggest sponsorships and they won’t have anything much out for sale over Xmas which traditionally is one of the busiest times for sales (or so I’m told).

Hmmm, fair enough. Kind of annoys me too as I'm itching to buy a whole bunch of new gear for 2019 but am waiting on the jerseys. Just the way it is I guess.

It's repeatedly said within the article their identity remains a mystery and they're not nailed down.
Yes I know, there has been no official announcement on P&O or Alcatel yet so who knows?

I'm starting to wonder if perhaps P&O and Alcatel will just be training gear sponsors and we will have something different on the jerseys.
