I'm expecting a very pro-Qld crowd for this one, most locals/nuetrals adopt Qld at Origin time.

Organised a corporate box for this so free food and alcohol for 4 and half hours.

Hopefully NSW get home.

Can't wait!

We must have lived in very different parts of WA. I've never met anyone in the 18 years I lived in Perth and Kalgoorlie that didn't hate Queensland for being the dirty leper colony that it is.

I'll be on the 50 metre line at Optus telling anyone in a Maroon jersey to get back to the employment agency.

Funicane:

22 runs for 195m, 34 tackles, 85% tackle efficiency. Definitely needs to replace Klemmer.

Still a few rounds of injuries and suspensions to stuff both sides but if it be exceptionally bad for the blues and the great aubs runs out in game 2 it would be awesome

Freddy's plan has been to use backrowers as middle forwards later in games. It hasn't worked, even in games we've won. More NSW backrowers is not what is needed, unless you are a Queenslander.

Hypothetically, if Panthers centre, Waqa Blake was playing for NSW, he would have got most of the crowd behind them being that he hails from W.A. Maybe next year.

There has been some people on my facebook criticising the game being in Perth and next year in Adelaide but I'm totally behind it and respect the NRL for doing this. Being ambitious and promoting our game in AFL states with our best product could potentially raise some public interest in Rugby League in Western/South Australia like Origin in Melbourne in the early 90's did. .

I really respect Quayle/Arthurson for doing what they did all those years ago as well. The fact they were able to emphatically win over the Melbourne public in 1994 and get a record rugby league crowd in a city where at the time Rugby was so unheard of is outstanding and it raised some interest that has lead to a Melbourne franchise.
