Excellent game, worthy decider. Plenty of Queenslanders can hold their heads high there. NSW looked all over it, then an amazing, but typical fight from Queensland turned it into one of the best finishes we've seen. And Fergo and Teddy had brilliant games and iced it at the end, with a nice touch from the maligned Pearce. I noticed Queensland players running from everywhere and diving in despair to stop that last play, never gave up.

Brave brave pass from Pearce to Fergo

Pearce to Turbo, Turbo to Ferguson. Almost identical to 3 years ago when Moylan passed to Ferguson who made the break then inside to Teddy who didn't quite make it. Jennings ran through them to score in his last Origin match, saving NSW from the clean sweep.

I thought Pearce was solid. Actually and this is a bit of an insult he reminded me of how Sezer is playing at Canberra lol. His kicking was average to below average but he didnt defend badly enough to stand out like Maloney did and didn't do a lot wrong outside of the kicking.

Maloney though that was not one of his best.

It really speaks for how good Cook and Tedesco are tbh
